Dogs truly are our best friends. They are incredibly loveable, affectionate, cute and great stress busters. It is only natural that many pet parents want to surprise their furry baby with a special treat or cake now and then.
Cakes for pets? Yes, you got that.
Hungry puppy eyes can be hard to resist but sharing human cakes is a bad idea for pooches as some of the ingredients can cause allergies, illness and stomach related problems. Chocolate cakes are also unfit as chocolate is toxic for dogs. Also, the high sugar content in the cakes make it worst. Dogs can however, digest naturally occurring sugar in fruits and vegetables. Grain free, sugar free and wheat free cakes are good for dogs. Cakes for pets should be safe and healthy for dogs and should be made using natural ingredients.
Here are some healthy pet cakes for dog recipes that your pooch will simply love. These cakes will last about 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator. Here are some recipes for a grain free cake for pets.
